Dear Judo friends,
I would like to take this opportunity and on behalf of the Dutch Judo Federation cordially welcome all the participants and guests of the 2e edition of the Dutch Open Masters in Dronten, The Netherlands. The
One of our main goals is to make judo sport more popular and to organize championships in a way to fulfill all expecations and, if possible, to exceed them. Our first edition was quite a success; we had participants from 10 different countries like China, Kazachstan & Finland. But also there was a very good atmosphere were people became friends for life. On the World Championships in Frankfurt we received various compliments what made us very proud.
Therefore our goal for 2012 is to reach 200 participants and to have a separate competition for recreational (up to 2nd kuy, blue belt) judoka’s.
We ask you kindly to inform and stimulate your judofriends to compete at our Dutch Masters Open on 28th of April. Please send your completed subscription before April the 2nd by e-mail to martenskroon@solcon.nl.
The tournament will take place in the city of Dronten, but at a new location, where that day also the Dutch Open for Special Needs (G-judo) will be held. This will bring young and old together in a relaxed atmosphere.
We would like to encourage judo athletes to continue or to start competing as veterans. Our task is to create pleasant surrounding and inspiring atmosphere so all judo veterans can achieve their best results.
Best wishes to all participants,
Organisation Committee
